The Wrong People Travel: A Queer Cabaret

The Wrong People Travel: A Queer Cabaret

Why do the wrong people travel?

After being struck by an NYPD vehicle in 2010, Josh Carr found himself trapped in a Brooklyn hospital. Consequently, he was unable to walk and desperate to travel the world. But after reconnecting with Scottie Roche, his ex-lover, the two began to reconcile their complicated relationship while planning a cruise around the world. Directed by Topher Cusumano with musical direction by Karl Saint Lucy, The Wrong People Travel explores mobility, non-monogamy, and queer love. It’s an evening of comedic storytelling and musical theater standards from legends like Cole Porter, Stephen Sondheim, Ed Kleban, and more.
